Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire - J.K. Rowling, Mary GrandPré

The middle book of the series as well as a turning point in the overall story.  For the first time since Sorcerer's Stone a POV other than Harry's begins the book before transitioning to him by the end of the chapter.  The Dursleys and the Weasleys interactions were interesting before Fred tricks Dudley into eating the joke candy.  The introductions of Bill and Charlie Weasley to complete the whole family along with formal introduction of Cedric Diggory (first seen in Azkaban) and the magic of the portkey.
